Fremont Ross football coach Chad Long has stepped down after 10 seasons.

Long, who had a 48-59 record over the last decade, led the Little Giants to six postseason appearances.

The school announced that Long was stepping away from the role on social media posts on Tuesday.

The Little Giants went 6-5 this season and earned a spot in the Division II playoffs. Fremont Ross lost 69-38 to Olmsted Falls in the opening round.

Long had several players make the Division II all-district team. Marquez Williams was named defensive player of the year and Kole Myers earned lineman of the year honors.
