Manchester United could make millions from a possible Mason Greenwood transfer, despite selling the academy graduate to Ligue 1 side Marseille back in 2024. Since his move to France, the 24-year-old has scored 33 goals in 52 appearances and caught the eye of a number of high-profile European clubs.
Greenwood, who was previously charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, saw charges dropped in February 2023.
After being suspended by United , he returned to football during a loan spell with La Liga outfit Getafe, before in turn agreeing a permanent move to Marseille for £26.6million, with United agreeing 50 per cent sell-on fee should the French side look to cash in.
