Man shows up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, while police were on the scene of a shots fired call.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington police are investigating a shooting reported Tuesday evening on the city’s east side.

Officers were dispatched around 7:15 p.m. to the 1700 block of Jennifer Road after receiving reports of shots fired, the department said.

While officers were at the scene, a male victim arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. His condition was not immediately released.
