A woman accused in the deadly fentanyl poisoning of a man at the ilani hotel is now facing charges of tampering with witnesses while inside the Clark County Jail.

Raylin M. Benzie, 34, was back in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday on the new charges. She’s accused of witness tampering, on top of first-degree murder, placing poison or other harmful substances in a drink, first-degree robbery and second-degree theft.

Benzie was arrested Oct. 31 after a man, identified by authorities as Arslan, 38, was found dead Oct. 5 in a room at the ilani hotel.
