GIRARD Students, current and former staff of Girard Intermediate School were on school grounds on November 25, 2025, to open a time capsule that was sealed away in the walls of the school 25 years ago.

According to Wendy DiBernardi, a middle school language arts gifted teacher at Girard Intermediate School, the capsule was originally thought up during the transition period between Tod Woods School and Girard Intermediate School.

The capsule was placed 25 years ago in the wall of Girard Intermediate School.
