LAHAINA, Hawaii - The WSU Cougars (3-4) collapsed late to allow an Arizona State Sun Devils (6-1) comeback.
Cougs freshman Ace Glass scored a career-high 40 points on nine made field goals and 16 free throws. The Cougs shot over 50% from the field and from three in their best offensive night of the season.
Arizona State scored 58 second-half points, erasing a double-digit deficit to take the win and advance to the Maui Invitational finals.
WSU next plays Seton Hall (6-1) in the third-place game tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. PST.
