BERLIN CENTER, Ohio - Students across several grades held their own version of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Tuesday, inviting the school to participate in the district-wide celebration.
The school, located at 13850 West Akron-Canfield Road in Berlin Center, transformed its main hallway into the parade route.
According to a news release outlining the event, the parade is a district-wide effort that spans several grades. The aim is to teach students more about the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) jobs associated with the parade.
"Students in kindergarten through fifth grade engage in STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) and this project has been a great way to tie all the STEAM students' lessons together," said STEAM tea
