PAWTUCKET – The plan for the new Pawtucket High School, set to rise where McCoy Stadium once stood, took a step forward last week.

The City Planning Commission, at its Nov. 18 meeting, approved a preliminary plan for the project, after giving the nod to a more conceptual master plan in July.

Mark Andrade, chief of operations for the Pawtucket School Department, shared with the commission about their continued collaboration with the city and how they’re excited to be advancing to this stage on a combined high school to replace Tolman High School and Shea High School.
