SIOUX CENTER, IA (Dakota News Now) -We’ve got 3 local teams in the college football playoffs Saturday.

For quite a few years, including several NAIA title games it’s been Northwestern that’s gotten most of the media attention in Northwest Iowa in college football.

But this year it’s the Dordt Defenders, with a 9-0 record until a loss to Morningside in the final regular season game in overtime. Joel Penner’s Defenders are head to Indianapolis Saturday to take on Marian.
