GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - University of Florida athletics officials say the upcoming game against FSU marks the 18th straight sellout for the Gators.

UF officials say this is the longest sell-out streak in years.

The Gators sold out 138 consecutive games from 1989 to 2011, the golden years of Tim Tebow, Steve Spurrier, and others.

In August, the Gator ticket office announced the sellout of season tickets, while student season tickets were also sold out for the fifth-consecutive year.
