SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -The Suncoast starts out warm and mostly dry today, then dives into cooler, crisp air for Thanksgiving and Black Friday as a strong cold front moves through.
Today, the Suncoast, having been under a warm ridge of high pressure, will yield to an advancing cold front working its way through Florida. That means a little more cloud cover but still a comfortable day with higher humidity. The cold front moving in from the west may squeeze out a few showers along the eastern Gulf waters and perhaps a quick shot of drizzle in a few isolated inland locations. Most of the peninsula will stay dry. Winds remain light, generally from the southeast to southwest, and temperatures run above normal.
Wednesday night, the front finally pushes through. Behind it, much cooler and drier
