Thanksgiving isn’t just a time for Americans to express their gratitude. It’s also become a chance for major retailers to duke it out for a spot at the dinner table—specifically, on top of it.

In other words, it’s the time of year that major retailers roll out their value-priced meal kits.

Target’s thanksgiving meal, for example, will feed four people for under $20. Amazon’s horn of plenty fills five bellies for $25. Aldi is offering a 10-guest Thanksgiving meal kit with a whopping 21 ingredients—from a 14-pound turkey down to baby carrots—for $40, tallying to $4 a person. (“Less than a pumpkin spice latte,” as the company said .)
