An 18-year-old man is dead after a shooting reported in a Pine Hills apartment complex Tuesday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a shots-fired call in the 7300 block of Woodhill Park Drive at about 8 p.m.

Upon arriving, they found a victim who had been shot.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim was later identified as 18-year-old Elias Eliavon.

At this time, there are no details about what caused the shooting or possible suspects.

The OCSO said this incident remains under an active investigation.
