DALLAS — For nearly 60 years, the Dallas Cowboys have been a Thanksgiving Day institution.
“The environment, the atmosphere of the game. It's a game that you don't wanna miss," said Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown.
The longtime tradition of Cowboys football on Thanksgiving resonates with current players as much as the ones who came before them.
"We might be sore, we might be tired but at the end of the day, I'm living my dream," Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson put into perspective. "From the moment I held a football in my hand, from the moment I could walk, this is always what I wanted to do.”
Perhaps no current Cowboy is more familiar with the holiday stage than Dak Prescott, who will make his eighth Thanksgiving start on Thursday when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs
