LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Cold air is crashing in today, and we’ve got a real winter flex heading into the end of November and the start of December.

This morning, a cold front is racing across Kentucky. There are a few showers along and just ahead of it. There’s a chance for a few late-afternoon or evening flurries, especially across the north and east. Don’t be surprised if you see a stray snowflake.

Thanksgiving Day will be cold, starting in the upper 20s to low 30s with wind chills in the upper teens to low 20s. Afternoon highs climb into the upper 30s to low 40s, but wind chills will stay around the mid-20s to 30. Exp
