The Cullman Police Department announced on Tuesday the arrest of longtime Cullman attorney Sara Baker.

Baker is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, three counts of attempted murder, distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree elder abuse, four counts of solicitation to commit a controlled substance crime and second-degree domestic violence.

Cullman Daily reported Baker allegedly tried to poison her husband. The outlet said her home was raided Tuesday evening, and she was taken into custody.

Police confirmed Baker was placed in the Cullman County Detention Center.
