A 'traumatised' woman claims Pets at Home gave her a 'surprise pregnancy' guinea pig - who then told her to 'do what you need to' with the baby. Lauren May Ross paid £30 to adopt guinea pig An on September 14 from the High Wycombe branch of Pets at Home.

The 30-year-old had nipped into the shop to stock up on supplies for the two guinea pigs she owned already, named Guinea and Pig. But when the coffee shop owner spotted An on her own in the store she quizzed staff for 45 minutes before deciding to take her home.
