Found positive niche

When the grandson told me he was thankful for 4-H, I was more than a little surprised. While I was a 4-H-er years ago, this 10-year-old is not in 4-H. In the ensuing conversation, he reminded me of the connection.

One recent summer the UA Cooperative Extension 4-H coordinator in Hot Spring County put on a well-attended daytime workshop for kids and adults, with presentations from various community resources on topics of summer safety for kids. I had taken the grandson and his older sister to this workshop. The hands-on presentation of Vision Martial Arts with active participation of all kids captured his passion.
