Winds are gusty today, up to 30-35 mph. This is especially true in northern portions of the Bluegrass. This blustery day will have wind-chill temperatures about 10 degrees below our actual air temperatures. So even though this afternoon will be in the mid- to upper 40s, it’ll feel closer to the upper 30s.

By Thursday morning, high pressure will be building into the area. Cold temperatures and gusty winds will continue moving through the Bluegrass. Anyone heading out for a Turkey Trot will want to wear proper layers. By the afternoon, temperatures will only be in the upper 30s.
