Family members are mourning a Waterbury father and son who died after a car crash over the weekend in Bristol.

For Daniel Pesantez and his twin brother David, words come naturally when talking about their older brother, Ismael Duran Pacheco.

“My brother was very devoted to his kids and not just his kids, his step kids, everybody," Pesantez said. "He'd give you the sneakers off his feet, the shirt off his back. The brother was very hard working. He cared about everybody."

The Pesantez twins are five years younger than Ismael. Daniel said Ismael raised them, picking them up from school on his bike and eventually his car.
