Money expert Martin Lewis has called out 'staggering fat fingers' from Office for Budget Responsibility after it leaked Chancellor Rachel Reeves ' Budget plans minutes before the Autumn Budget speech was given in Parliament.

Normally, the OBR, which is a non-party political governmental department, releases its Budget plans and assessments following the Chancellor's Budget speech.

But today, the news leaked at lunchtime that the OBR's document, outlining detailed plans for the Chancellor, were revealed before Ms Reeves could stand up in the House of Commons to make the announcements.

Following the 'c*** up*, Martin Lewis tweeted: "This looks like staggering fat fingers from the OBR publishing budget outcome before the budget, govt will be fuming."
