CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - It is one of the busiest travel days of the year: People are hitting the road and heading to the airport to visit loved ones for Thanksgiving.
People WBTV spoke with said on this Thanksgiving holiday, they are thankful for a smooth day of travel.
Whether it’s a quick trip or a longer flight, people heading to Charlotte Douglas International Airport are thankful this week that their flights were on time.
“Normally we book about three months out, even though with the shutdown that happened these past couple of months, we didn’t allow that to deter us, me and my family, of being able to go visit my grandparents,” said Kyle Brantley. “We already did have alternative plans such as renting a car from Enterprise or Hertz.”
