CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are working to identify two people suspected of stealing from an apartment in north Charlotte last week.
The reported theft happened around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at an apartment in a complex on Northlake Centre Parkway, near Northlake Mall.
Police said two people broke into an apartment and stole several expensive items.
“It’s dangerous because when you break into someone’s home, you don’t know if they have weapons or you don’t know if the people going in have weapons,” explained Detective Ashley Phillips.
The suspected thieves were seen on doorbell camera footage. One of them was wearing a mask, but the other had his face exposed.
“In my opinion, I just feel like thieves and people who do things like this, they don’t care.
