Whether you consider it salty, creamy comfort or culinary canned chaos, there’s no denying it: green bean casserole is now a Thanksgiving non-negotiable.

Time to come clean. I love green bean casserole. And not the kind you’d get from sophisticated gourmet chefs.

Nope. I want the kind with frozen green beans, canned fried onions and blobs of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup — glop, glop, glopping out of the can. (Or is it plop, plop, plopping?) Yum!
