Nearly 100 people packed into Vancouver City Hall on Monday night to participate in the city council’s last community forum of 2025 and to quiz local leaders about what they’re doing to protect residents from ramped-up federal immigration enforcement .
Half of the group congregated in the lobby with Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle, Councilor Sarah Fox and other city officials, while the others gathered with Vancouver Police Chief Troy Price, Mayor Pro Tem Erik Paulsen and Councilors Kim Harless and Diana Perez inside a separate meeting space known as the Aspen Room.
