A 43-year-old man was arrested last weekend in Bergen County on multiple counts of cyber-harassment for allegedly sending pornographic messages to seven victims online.
The suspect, a Hawthorne resident, allegedly sent the obscene messages from July to September of 2025, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
The prosecutor’s Cyber Crimes Unit was alerted in September to a pattern of obscene online messages sent to various victims. Investigators identified the man as a suspect.
He was arrested Saturday in Glen Rock and charged with seven counts of fourth-degree cyber-harassment, Musella said.
The man was held at the Bergen County Jail pending a court hearing.
