SHREVEPORT, La. — Red River Academy has announced its official formation and a partnership with First Bossier to expand soccer in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
The collaboration will use the Freedom Fields complex, which organizers say will provide families and players with a premier soccer experience as preparations begin for the spring 2026 season.
The inaugural season is scheduled for March 21 through May 16, 2026, with practices starting in February.
Adam Williams, owner and sports director of Red River Academy, said his years of professional soccer experience will guide the program’s focus on coaching, refereeing and player development.
Pastor Brad Jurkovich of First Bossier said the partnership reflects the church’s mission.
