SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport Fire Department crews responded to a house fire in the 200 block of E. Olive Street early Wednesday.
When firefighters arrived about 5:45 they reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the home.
SFD dispatched seven units to the scene. More than 20 firefighters worked to bring the fire under control just before 6:15 a.m.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. One firefighter suffered a minor injury while fighting the fire and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
