Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department have arrested a man in connection with racially charged graffiti found in a South Nashville park several times in November.
Nuzhdar Hamdoun, 28, was charged with vandalizing government property, with bond set at $2,000, the department said in a news release.
Graffiti messages written in chalk on a basketball court at William A. Pitts Park had been found on the court “on at least three occasions” this month, and had caused community concern, the department said.
