The week before Thanksgiving, New York State Senator Kristen Gonzalez distributed over 750 turkeys and meals to Queens residents in partnership with community-based organizations, NYCHA resident leaders, and sponsors Hispanic Federation, Urban Upbound, City Harvest, and Rise, Light, and Power. These distributions complement her work in Albany to combat food insecurity and deliver necessary resources directly to her constituents.

On Tuesday, Senator Gonzalez partnered with City Harvest, Rise, Light, and Power, Urban Upbound, and the NYCHA Ravenswood Tenants Associations to distribute hundreds of turkeys to constituents at the complexes.
