Mumble Grumble is a typeface with a very specific use: filler text. Sometimes you just want something that suggests text without being text. After all, greeking or lorem ipsum read as legible placeholder text and may inadvertantly carry undesirable meaning; in finished work they look like a mistake. But these squiggles? As beautiful as any other Nate Piekos font, perfect for comic books, presentations or mockups.

Designed for letterers who need to fill large areas with nonsense text. As a time-saving feature, you can press any key in either font and get an entire nonsense word! Mumble grumble i is for very far away text. Mumble grumble ii is for medium-distance handwriting!

It's free, too, for nonprofits and indies. I see Nate's got a book out about lettering, too. 00:00/19:20 10
