ROCHESTER, Minn.- The City of Rochester's Public Works Department has up to 45 snow plows ready to help clean up after the first major snowfall of the season on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The city is expecting one to three inches of snow on public roads between midnight and 4 a.m. that morning.
Jake Busho, street maintenance supervisor, says for that level of snowfall, it can take crews around 8 hours afterwards to clean it all up, starting with major roads and working towards smaller neighborhoods.
For drivers who will be on the road that morning, he says it is important to be patient and to give plows space to clear up city streets.
