Wolves star Joao Gomes is continuing to be linked with a move to Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window. United have been heavily linked with going back into the market for a midfielder since this summer.
Ruben Amorim made five new additions to his first-team squad at United this summer - with the majority seeing the club strengthen their forward line. Benjamin Sesko , Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were snapped-up by United, as were goalkeeper Senne Lammens and left-back Diego Leon.
When it comes to midfielders, Gomes is one of the latest names to be mentioned as a possible target for United.
