TWO HARBORS, Minn. — It never hurts to ask.

The folks behind the Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association will tell you that old adage has never been truer, after a long-shot request led to a big-buck sponsorship that will help cover the costs of their new Zamboni.

Make that... a Jamboni, after legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Pearl Jam agreed to a three-year sponsorship that will allow the association to put more money towards equipment and ice time for its players. The idea came from the manager of Sonju Arena, Jesse Lundgren, who is a huge Pearl Jam fan.

Lundgren, who is also the Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association Executive Director, told KARE 11 that the rink's old ice surfacer was a 1989 propane-fueled model that was on its last legs. Lake County agreed to cover the cost of the
