According to the documents, a woman approached officers on Broadway to tell them that a man near Gay Street and Magnolia Avenue had offered her $100 to find a 13 to 16-year-old he could have sex with. The woman had the man’s phone number, the documents said, which the documents said officers found belonged to 56-year-old Mark Stenglein.
Officers used that information to stop Stenglein Sunday for speeding, the documents said, confirming he looked like the woman described and was driving the same car.
