ST PAUL, Minn. — Celebrate Hmong culture and the New Year with the annual festival at the St. Paul RiverCentre on Nov. 29 and 30.

Last year, the Hmong New Year festival welcomed 30,000 attendees to celebrate with food, clothing and dance. There will also be traditional courtship games of ball toss for those who want to participate or watch.

The festival will add its first-ever Mrs. Hmong Minnesota Pageant to the event lineup. Mee Vang, United Hmong Family President, and Jack Ger Vang, UHF Marketing Coordinator, visited KARE 11 News at Noon to share more.
