On Nov. 19, Rhyne Linker’s family and friends lined the hall at CaroMont Medical Center to honor him as hospital staff moved him to an operating room to prepare him for organ donation.
On Nov. 18, Linker was struck by a vehicle in front of his home and later died from his injuries.
Today, his family is comforted by the knowledge that doctors were able to successfully save three of his organs for donation, according to his mother, Janice Spidel.
