CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A man, described as a “threat” to the community, is being held on a $1.9 million bond as he faces nearly 20 child sex abuse and porn charges.

Robert Shepard, 50, of Cleves, appeared via Zoom on Wednesday for his court appearance.

The Hamilton County prosecutor handling the case says what investigators found "is just about the worst of the worst you can imagine."

It was on April 7 that the prosecutor’s office said the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office got a cybertip that resulted in a search warrant.

Shepard told investigators, according to the prosecutor, he only had child sex abuse material on one phone, but more abuse content was found when they discovered additional phones.
