There was a sense of job well done as Maroon 5 wrapped up its Love Is Like Tour on Tuesday night, Nov. 25, at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena.
The closest things came to any closing night shenanigans came during opening act Claire Roskinkranz’s set, when Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine strode onstage, decked out in her souvenir hoodie and cap — which he promptly stripped off and tossed into the audience. And during their set Levine and his five bandmates made only a couple of references to it being the tour’s last show.
There was a somewhat “special” inclusion of “Cigarettes,” a bonus track from the “Love Is Like” album, and the only song played from the set. Otherwise Maroon 5 gave the 13,500 or so at LCA exactly what they came for, which was a
