Tomorrow is officially Thanksgiving.

The holiday is a time for enjoying a large feast together; and while the holiday gathering feels warm and inviting inside your home, it may be less welcoming to your neighbors who have to deal with multiple cars in front of their homes.

But while it can be annoying to have strange cars parked on the street by your home, is it illegal?

Short answer: Unless it is posted that a permit is required or other official signage on a street noting special parking requirements, it is legal to park on any public street. That includes in front of your neighbor's house, as long as it is not blocking their driveway.
