Jenny McCarthy is in the process of healing after getting a bad infection that caused her teeth to fall out.

McCarthy revealed that she underwent nine mouth surgeries this year alone in a new interview with People , published Wednesday.

“I had one infection that turned into another and another, and then I had these growths show up on my eyeballs,” she explained, adding, “My teeth were falling out, implants falling out.”

McCarthy, 53, explained that doctors discovered that she had a deep bone infection after chipping into her jawbone.

“I’ve been on antibiotics for a year, and have had to eat soft foods only,” she said.
