A pair of New York City residents were found dead inside a room at the Borgata casino hotel in Atlantic City under mysterious circumstances Sunday afternoon, prosecutors said.

The bodies of Brooklyn man Wei Guo Liang, 68, and Staten Island woman Baoyi Bowie Zheng, 36, were both discovered in one of the rooms at the glossy high-rise by authorities around 5 p.m., the Atlantic Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday.

Zheng’s cause of death was a broken neck while Liang succumbed to self-inflicted stab wounds, autopsies determined, according to prosecutors.

The prosecutor’s office did not provide more information, including whether or not this was a murder-suicide.
