SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Siouxland Libraries has selected its 2026 One Book Siouxland title for readers across Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County.

This year, Siouxland Libraries selected “True Biz”, a fictional novel by Sara Nović.

The book follows students attending the River Valley School for the Deaf, where Nović offers a glimpse of the power and resiliency of Deaf culture, the fight against marginialization, and the search for “true biz”, aka, the authentic truth.

“This year’s selection invites readers to explore a rich and often underrepresented culture through a compelling and emotional story,” said Alysia Boysen, Director of Siouxland Libraries. “We’re excited to spark meaningful conversations and connect our community through this shared reading experience.”
