It’s time for Central New York’s version of the Grammys.

The 2026 Syracuse Area Music Awards, also known as the SAMMYS, will take place Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Palace Theatre in Eastwood. The event will feature live performances by local artists and the presentation of awards in multiple categories, in addition to People’s Choice awards in four categories, the Brian Bourke Award for Best New Artist, Jack O Bocchino Spirit of the Sammys Award, and the Community Spirit Award.

Artists can submit their music for consideration between Dec. 1, 2025, and Jan. 2, 2026, online at syracuseareamusic.com/submissions. Artists must choose one category they wish to be judged in.
