The Columbia Public Works Department will hold an interested parties meeting regarding Whitegate Drive traffic calming on Dec. 4.

The meeting will be held at the Reentry Opportunity Center, 1621 Towne Drive, from 6-7 p.m.

According to a city of Columbia news release , a traffic study found Whitegate Drive sees "vehicles operating at speeds higher than desirable."

This informal interested parties meeting is open to the public. Information will be available for public review, and city engineering staff will be present to answer any questions, according to the news release.

Information and a feedback form regarding the project can be found on its BeHeard webpage . The webpage will be open for feedback until Dec. 31. Public comments will also be accepted at the meeting.
