TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Tucson Police Department has identified the pedestrian who died from their injuries after a hit-and-run in midtown. The suspect has turned himself in following the fatal crash.
Hans Fredrick Morton, 65, was identified as the victim in the pedestrian crash.
According to TFD, Operations Division West officers responded to the 1200 block of West Roger Road following a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Nov. 22 around 6 p.m.
The Tucson Fire Department transported Morton, who had life-threatening injuries, to Banner University Medical Center, where he later died. The vehicle involved in the crash reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived.
