TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A two-alarm fire broke out at a big-box furniture store in a strip mall, prompting a quick response from the Tucson Fire Department.
On Nov. 26 around 4:39 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a report of a commercial fire on East Grant Road.
The Engine 5 crew quickly arrived to the scene within six minutes, discovering smoke at the back of the building and flames on the westside.
TFD said given that the big-box furniture store is part of a strip mall, a second alarm was called to bring in additional support. The fire was contained to the furniture store by 5:22 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
