HMRC has issued a message to UK taxpayers, urging them to check if they are owed a refund. The Government organisation has explained who might be owed money and the process to apply for it

HMRC is urging taxpayers across Britain to check whether they're due a refund and has said who is entitled to money back.

There are several reasons why people could be owed cash. These include issues relating to pensions , employment income or self-assessment tax returns.
