The NFL is planning a big tribute next year as the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday.

The league announced that every game in 2026 will use a special-edition football and feature new field markings. Actually, this is part of a long-planned partnership with the US Semiquincentennial Commission.

According to the league, teams already have the new footballs. Each ball includes the America 250 logo and will debut in Week 18 on January 3 and 4. They will also be used during Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara and throughout the entire 2026 season.
