ATLANTA — A man has been arrested three years after a body was found the woods of Atlanta's Carey Park neighborhood. Warrants indicate the crime may have been gang-related as the suspect faces multiple charges.

Warrants issued in April 2022 name Deaundre Craig as a murder suspect in the killing of Jacob Weaver. Craig is accused of having ties to the Gangster Disciples street gang.

Back on March 23, 2022, APD said its officers responded to a "person deceased" call at 5 p.m. to the area of 7th St. NW and Etheridge Dr. NW . When officers arrived, they discovered a body in the woods.
